Camping at Lake Garda

Camping Holidays at Lake Garda

Lake Garda is the largest and most popular of the Italian lakes with its scenery changing from stunning craggy mountains in the north, to rich countryside and vineyards in the east.

Verona is probably one of the best known cities by Lake Garda and was the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene. Malcesine is a superb lakeside resort and a trip up the cable car is a must for all who come here.

The clear waters of the lake are ideal for swimming and watersports and the area in general is a highlight for any walking enthusiast.

Lake Garda Camping Holidays - Self Drive

A Dover to Calais or Eurotunnel crossing to France and then a 12-14 hour drive through France into Northern Italy. This trip will require 1 or 2 overnight stops so break up the journey and book into a hotel for the night.
