This delightful cottage, converted from a 17th century farm building, is set amidst a working farm surrounded by the lovely Dorset countryside. Visitors are welcome to stroll the fields, the banks of the River Brit and lakes to view farm animals, crops and the varied wildlife.
Bridport with its twice weekly street market, leisure centre, museum and shops is close by, as are many small villages with their inviting inns. West Bay, 2 miles, Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury including tropical gardens, swannery and play barn, World Heritage Jurassic coastline and various National Trust houses are all easily accessible.
The unique cliffs along the coast include Golden Cap, and the fossil bearing rocks at Charmouth. The south west coast path is ideal for picturesque walks to take in the stunning scenery. Great houses such as Mapperton and Forde Abbey are waiting to be explored. Coarse fishing is available in the lakes on the farm. A comprehensive farm shop and licensed restaurant are on the premises.
