An island on an island! Literally like stepping back in
time, this historic fort is surrounded by a moat and offers
a 360° view over the island and it’s rich surrounding
landscape. With no cars about the only way to get around
this colourful French island adorned with creeks and
hiking trails is by foot, bike or horse drawn carriage.
The perfect outdoor holiday, there’s plenty to do for the whole
family. Play a spot of tennis or golf or see where a
walking trail will lead you. Go on a bike tour through the
forest, or if basking in the sunshine is more your tune
then take a boat over to Fouras, a 4km long untouched
peninsula of sandy beach.
