Apartments in Aquitaine

The South-West corner of France is known as the Aquitaine region and it covers north of Arcachon right down towards Biarritz, St Jean de Luz close to the Spanish border and across to the Midi-Pyrenees.

The town of Arcachon is arguably one of the most popular coastal resorts in the area, thanks in part to the`Dune du Pilat', the largest sand dune in Europe. Not far from Arachon and the coast is the capital of the region - the famous city of Bordeaux. The city itself is vibrant, lively and a great place to spend the day shopping! Just outside of the city you can head towards the Médoc and miles of vineyards. There are many vineyards which offer tastings and the chance to buy some of their wine.
