The Languedoc-Roussillon region borders with Aquitaine, the Dordogne and Provence and covers the area down to the Spanish border and along the Mediterranean coast. It's an area full of contrast and must be visited to fully appreciate the beauty of the area.
The Northern part of the Languedoc incorporates the historical towns of Nimes and Uzes with the seaside resorts of Sète and Cap d'Agde. The South and its exciting landscape and scenery includes the well-known fortress town of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi and the lively towns of Narbonne and Pepignan.
