Hippocampe is a small park but has a wonderful, lively beach holiday atmosphere and an excellent range of facilities nearby.
Within 20 minutes drive you can be exploring the hilltop villages of the Pyrénées. The whole region has a Spanish flavour and feel, with many residents speaking Catalan. Perpignan is a short drive (14 miles) to the north and Argelès boasts 5 miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches.
