Carnac Plage, Brittany's number one beach resort, is a hive of activity, with numerous restaurants, colourful cafes, and of course its fine sandy beaches. The port of Trinité-sur-Mer with its amazing array of racing yachts in the harbour can be found just a short drive away. Boat trips to Belle Ile or the Gulf of Morbihan are ever popular in this area and the dramatic Quiberon peninsula is not to be missed. The more energetic amongst you may wish to partake in Sand Yachting along the beach. The ancient city of Vannes with its popular aquarium, and the weekly market at picturesque Auray are also well worth a visit.
