Camping Sol-à-Gogo has direct access to a superb beach and is an easy stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes. The fantastic swimming pool complex offers a refreshing alternative to the beach and the children will love the waterchutes and waterslides. There is also a covered pool which would not look out of place in a private health club. The site is well-maintained, and facilities include a bar and a lively entertainment programme in high season. Some noise may be heard from the local road.

Around and about
There are numerous beaches in the area, from the sandy sheltered beach at St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie to secluded coves at Sion-sur-l’Océan. The market town of Challans is only ten miles away, with a popular market on Tuesdays. On the way back you could visit a working mill at Sallertaine still using traditional methods.
