This lovely Castels site, just two miles from the pretty village of Arzano, has been developed around an old Breton village built in traditional local granite. With an off-the-beaten track atmosphere there is an activities programme organised by experienced site staff all season and the site gets very lively in high season. There is a small riverside beach on the banks of the River Elle where you can participate in canoeing and horse riding excursions in the nearby forest. Children will love both the indoor pool with waterfall and waterslides and outdoor swimming pool.

Quimperlé, a fifteen minute drive away, is a delightful market town, with narrow medieval streets and superb restaurants. Nearby is the popular Pont Scorff zoo where you can see a variety of wild animals. Further afield is Quimper, the medieval capital of Brittany, famous for its cathedral, maze of cobbled streets and pretty old quarter.
