Brittany has been welcoming visitors and tourists for hundreds of years and its rugged coastline is steeped in historical traditions and language.
Ideal for both short breaks and longer cottage holidays, Brittany is easily accessible from the UK by way of the two main ferry ports - Roscoff and St Malo. Once off the ferry, most cottage locations are within a 2-3 hour drive.
St Malo is famous for its walled city or intramuros and as you step inside the walls you enter a town full of charm and character. Just south of St Malo is Dinan, which boasts an impressive Vieille Ville (old town).
As you travel further west, you reach Finistère with imposing cliff faces and headlands and the popular tourist resorts of Concarneau, Bénodet and Pont-Aven. |
