Cottages in the Vendee

Boasting over 140km of sandy beaches, the Vendee features some of the best places to holiday in France.

Saint Jean de Monts enjoys 8km of attractive beaches and coves. The resort itself is very touristy and has every possible activity on offer. The nearby waterpark of Atlantic Toboggan is great fun for the kids.

Saint Gilles Croix-de-Vie is a quieter seaside resort and port. This is a charming village with 3.5km of sandy beaches, the main beach is located on the north side. La Tranche sur Mer is one of the prettiest, unspoilt resorts in France and lies just south of Les Sables d'Olonne.

Our cottages in the Vendee can be booked accommodation only or packaged with a ferry crossing.

A popular choice is the overnight crossing from Portsmouth to St Malo with around a 3 hour drive to Northern Vendee. A Plymouth to Roscoff crossing is also suitable and is approx 4 hours by car to the resort of St Jean de Monts.

please note that durations and arrival dates are restricted to the following:
4 nights must start on Thursday
7 nights must start on Thursday / Monday / Friday / Saturday
10 nights must start on a Monday
11 nights must start on a Thursday
