Côtes d'Armor, on the northern rugged coastline, is dotted with quaint, medieval towns. The port of Dinan is a delightful destination to visit with its old ramparts, cobbled streets and castle. St Brieuc, the capital of Côtes d'Armor, is ideal for shopping.
Ile & Vilaine, the eastern department of Brittany, boasts its emerald coast from Mont St Michel to St Briac sur Mer linking the ports of Cancale, St Malo and Dinard.
Morbihan, the southern part of Brittany, is home to a large number of menhirs and dolmen making this département one of the most impressive megalithic sites in the world - said to more than match Stonehenge.
