Chamonix is probably one of the best known resorts in the world and enjoys year-round tourism.
Chamonix resort is dominated by the Aiguille du Midi at 3842m and skiing here is probably best suited to the more confident skier. The lifts are spread around the resort but the shuttle bus is free when you buy the Mont Blanc ski lift pass.
One of the best things about Chamonix is its attraction for non-skiers and après-ski with a huge range of bars and restaurants to choose from as well as skating rinks, swimming pool and cinema. |
