Valmeinier has two villages 1500 and 1800, with much of the best accommodation is in the satellite resort Valmeinier 1800 with mostly ski-in/ski-out apartments. Valmeinier is a small, friendly resort great for families but with enough activity in the evenings to keep everyone happy.
The Crey du Quart has a choice of slopes linking to the Valloire valley. Valmeinier is an intermediates playground with long blue runs for the more nervous skiers and over 30 red runs and 6 black runs for anyone who wants more of a challenge.
