St François Longchamp is the first resort reached in the Maurienne Valley and only 12km from the motorway exit, and shares its ski terrain with Valmorel, separated by the famous Col de la Madeleine. Together they form Le Grand Domaine, an enjoyable ski area with 160km of downhill runs.
A pleasant, quiet and traditional village resort at 1650m, it's ideal choice for families.
With most of the ski areas accessible by blue pistes, the area is well suited to beginners and intermediates, with enough challenging terrain to easily keep experienced skiers interested for a week. |
