Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis, is the largest town in Scotland's Western Isles, the Outer Hebrides. Lewis is actually the north part of the Island of Lewis and Harris. In Harris there are the ports of Leverburgh and Tarbert - meaning that Lewis and Harris have three ports in total.

Travelling to Stornoway Ferry Terminal

The ferry terminal is only a 5 minute drive from Stornoway centre. The terminal can be reached via A866 or A857 and is well indicated.

There is a bus stop next to Pier and Terminal Building, 50 metres.

Stornoway: Port Facilities

There are no services at the terminal. Services are available in the centre at a reasonable walking distance (2 minutes).

There are disabled toilets at the terminal.

During the winter, the terminal is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 14:30 and Sunday from 12:00 to 14:30.

During the summer, the terminal is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00.

Terminal Car Park: 40 spaces - short stay, 2 hours maximum - no charge.

Public car park: 1 minute walk from terminal, 120 spaces - no charge.
