Cottages in Wales
You’re never too far in Wales from dramatic mountain scenery or sandy beaches.

Spoilt by nature…Wales has an amazing 750 miles of coastline and two quite beautiful national parks. Snowdonia boasts 100 lakes and 90 mountain peaks and visitors here should really walk or cycle the famous Mawddach Trail. The mild climate of Anglesey makes it a paradise for birds and other wildlife, anyone who stops here should head to Puffin Island to see these impressive birds. As you head towards the coast towards Pembrokeshire (Britain’s only coastal National Park) you might spot the visiting dolphins, seals and turtles who regularly venture into the area!

The Welsh are a fiercely proud nation, and with good reason. The country is brimming with heritage, culture and tradition and exploring the 641 castles is sure to keep everyone entertained. You should, in particular stop at the magnificent 13th century castle at Beaumaris in Anglesey. There are also a number of historic railways to visit with superb views across the countryside and they make for a fun day out for all the family.

There are all kinds of places to eat in Wales, many serving fresh seafood – in Aberaeron, your lobster travels only 108 miles from sea to plate! Sample Caerphilly, one of the local cheeses or immerse yourself in one of the hundreds of farmers markets and create your own culinary masterpiece from the luxury of your holiday cottage!

And for the family? How can you not visit the fantastic Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay where you meet snow leopards and lions, or a thrilling day at Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire! There are 43 blue-flag beaches across Wales, not only with stunning views but a huge sandy playground for anyone young at heart! Whether it’s a secluded farmhouse, a cliff top cottage or a seaside retreat, we’ve got hundreds of cottages for you to choose from, to let you discover your very own Wales!
